DwennKaufmann

Full stack developer in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

I design and build websites, business applications and desktop software. I’ve worked in web development for over ten years, and I’m a founder of Peaks.

I like working on the whole project: understanding the need, designing the interface, developing the features and connecting the tools it requires.

How I got started

I was born in 1994. My earliest computer memories are Windows 98, Adibou and a CRT monitor. I enjoyed playing games, but soon wanted to understand how software worked.

At around ten, I started programming with Mathieu Nebra’s C tutorials on Site du Zéro, now OpenClassrooms. Since then, I’ve kept learning by building projects of my own.

I still enjoy figuring out why something isn’t working, trying another approach and finding a solution. It also makes me want to build tools for my own needs, like Canapey.

What I do

Web interfaces
Design, UX and frontend development with Vue, Nuxt and Astro.
Backend and data
APIs, business rules, SQL databases and service integrations.
Desktop applications
Software built with Tauri, Rust and a Vue interface.
Automation
Python scripts, connected tools and AI integration where it is useful.

C# is also an important foundation of my experience, although my current projects mostly use the technologies above.

A few games I enjoy

Pokémon Blue, Mario Kart 64 and Donkey Kong 64 are among the games I enjoy. They have a place here too.
